Women’s Business Network (WBN) is proud to announce Angela’s Angels of Latrobe as our 2020-2021 Service Project. Located in Latrobe, Angela’s Angels is headed by Angela Rose O’Brien of the Laurel Highlands Chapter, and serves underprivileged teen girls and women by providing them with new and previously loved prom dresses and special occasion wear at no cost.  They have recently expanded their focus to work with other nonprofit organizations that service girls and women in need such as:  Adelphoi Village providing complementary outfits to abused, neglected and at-risk youth as a reward and incentive for exemplary behavior. People often say to us, “what a wonderful thing you do for those girls”. We answer by saying, “what a true blessing it is to work with them”. At Angela’s Angels, we have experienced so many opportunities and cherished moments throughout the past twelve years volunteering to provide disadvantaged high school girls the opportunity to attend their prom with the dresses and accessories at no cost to them.
